We must learn from our past!!!

I looked at this photo and it broke my heart!!!

I have become a fan of both of these brother's music, King Von about a year and a half ago and only a couple of months with Mo3, through my neighbor and owner of Playwidit Records. The reason this photo broke my heart shouldn't be a surprise to anyone! These two men were fathers. They were someone's son, brother, cousin and friend.

We have to stop killing each other!!!

With the recent death of Pop Smoke and so many other significant figures in the Hip Hop community as well as the Black community, we're taking a huge loss, twice!!!

This type of news brings me back to when BIG & PAC were killed!!! Senseless deaths that effects so many people. I had the privilege of meeting BIG but never had the chance to meet PAC. Although I didn't really know them on a personal level, the pain of their deaths still haunts me. The fact that there will not be another song (New) from either of them is a huge lost!!!

Now we have Pop Smoke, King Von and Mo3. Three more Black Men that their energy will only be felt by what and who they left behind.

We may come from different backgrounds and different situations but we all have felt the pain that comes from losing a loved one. Why bring that pain to someone else?

As men we have to start thinking and acting different!!! We are Heads of our families!!! I got a quote from the TV show "The Blacklist", I'm paraphrasing here but it's something like, "If the head of the household is weak, the whole family perishes". We have to work on ourselves for the sake of our families!!!

Nothing positive comes from an army that kills their own soldiers!!!

We have to do and be better!!!
